Throw the Trash Away

She’d given everything up for this one bastard. She had enough. She decided she’d leave him. At some point. Very soon. In the near future. Maybe next month. After the holidays would be best.

No!

No more bullshit! She knew she would have to get out of there and get far away from the lying and cheating. She had enough with giving him so much power over her. She trembled and cried and was ready to explode just to break free from the grip he had on her heart.

Then one day…

She packed up all of her belongings. She stuffed everything she owned into a small shitty red car with missing hubcaps. She drove herself out of his driveway, down the street, out of his town, and never looked back.

While unpacking, a thought struck her. She didn’t need any of this shit. Some of the necessities she kept, but other things were very replaceable. Bras and panties were absolutely replaceable. In fact, that’s rule number one when getting out of a relationship. Never wear old undergarments when you’re visiting a new bedroom! It’s just bad juju.

She gave most of her belongings away, threw out or pawned everything he ever gave her, and didn’t skip a beat. She was on a role.

Hi there Pixie Chicks!

Winter has melted away and the flowers are abundant and in bloom. According to the Disney film, Bambi, in spring, the forest animals get twitterpated, which means you might too! Here are 5 Spring Date Ideas for  you and your crush, or established other half. With the warmer weather there are so many outdoorsy ideas you can try; below are just a few:

1.  Hiking: Who doesn’t love a good hike? You’ll get fresh air, lots of sun, and your blood pumping. Maybe a leisure walk is more your speed? Pack a picnic and find a quiet spot to enjoy your beautiful local views and some time alone. This is a sweet idea and makes me think of simpler times.

2.  Antique Markets/ Flea Markets: For the DIYers out there this will be a real treat.  Attend  your local flea markets and search for that special find you must bring home. Has it seen better days? Look online for inspiration to repurpose your buy. Once it’s better than new, send us pictures of your projects. And keep an eye out for our “We Try DIY” Projects Series, coming soon!
