Welcome to another edition of Katherine at the Movies, where I, Katherine, watch movies. On last month’s edition, I did a quick recap of all the movies I had watched over the course of 4 months.
To remind you all, the goal is to watch 366 movies in 366 days (Yay leap years!). Simple. Last time I posted the first Katherine at the Movies, I had watched 108 movies. That’s averaging 27 movies a month. But in order to successfully complete this challenge, I need to average 31 movies per month. My count is currently at 146. I’m falling behind. Way behind.

Hello Pixie Chick Fans:
This will be a smaller post but hopefully one with a big message! We’re approaching our 6 month anniversary and I would like to say Thank You. I’m rediscovering the power of gratitude and hope that you take my thanks and spread it around in your life, (spread it everywhere)! I realized it had been some time since you folks heard from me and then I had the yucky feeling of not knowing what to write!! Not writer's block, just the startling realization that I had to post this week! I’ve began a Gratitude Kick once again and I’m currently on Day 9. In my Gratitude Journal, I list at least 10 things I’m grateful for each day. And last night, as the universe works, Cody and I went to the movie to see the new X Men movie, (I enjoyed it but had no reference for X Men, the last movie I saw was the very old cartoon version on VHS that I associate with Pizza Hut when I was probably 5)! What is that noise in the distance?? What is this cloud of glitter?? Why it can only be Eurovision 2016!!! If you are looking at the screen and scratching your head chances are you have no idea what I'm talking about. That's okay sit back and relax as I fill you in on a little ESC history. Eurovision or the if you want to use official title, the Eurovision Song Contest, is arguably the best and definitely the longest running song contest in the world. The long running joke of the event is that the only reason Europe hasn't broken out into World War III is that instead of fighting in the streets they fight in the sheets. The music sheets that is! 😉 42 countries enter and one is crowned the winner with the rights to host the contest in their country next year.
