Hello everyone! Pixie Chick Productions has been quite busy while we were away. For one thing, I was cast in a new play in a local theatre. Rehearsals are frequent and awesome! I’ve been saying, “I can’t, I have rehearsal tonight!” like a broken record. The play, “School for Manners” is written by local playwright, Bill Arnold and will be performed by the super fun and talented folks at Hole in The Wall Theatre in New Britain, Connecticut. We’re leading up to tech week with our opening night next Friday! It’s 1910 in London, Lady Manors and her daughters find themselves in a few situations that would make any aristocrat feeling flabbergasted! I’m made several new friends, perfected my British accent, and am thrilled to be back on stage! A few months ago I wrote a post about the acting bug, and boy, I was bit again! Please stay tuned for new content from Pixie Chick Productions in the coming weeks. If you’re in the Connecticut area please stop by Hole in the Wall Theatre in New Britain and support your local artists community. Love, Holly xo “It’s 1910, and hard times are approaching for the estate of Lady Manors; Addison Park. As she struggles to save her home in Edwardian England, she must also recline on her chaise lounge because that is what a well-born Lady does! Are wealth and social standing the key to a successful life? Find out the cost of contentment amongst the aristocracy. They’re just like you…only better.”
Performance Dates: November 17, 18, 24 (Pay What You Can), 25, December 1, 2, 8, 9 at 8 PM and November 26 at 2 PM. Tickets: To purchase tickets, follow the link in the Main Menu to TICKETS (hitw.tix.com). To reserve a seat, call 860-229-3049.
